prep time includes time to soak cashews in hot water
about 1 cup
½ cup raw cashews, soaked in hot water for 20 minutes or 6-8 hours in cold water
1 garlic cloves or ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
½-3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
salt and pepper, to taste
1. Drain and rinse soaked cashews.
2. Add all ingredients to high-speed blender, start with ½ cup water. Blend until very smooth, adding more water to reach desired consistency. Sauce will thicken once refrigerated.
