Pumpkin-less Pie Smoothie

The frozen banana makes this smoothie nice and creamy but fresh will work too!

Yields

Ingredients

1 frozen banana

1 cup beet greens

3/4 cup cooked butternut squash

1 scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder, optional (I use Garden of Life RAW MEAL)

2 tablespoons walnuts

Dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger

1-1 1/2 cups non-dairy milk (I used almond)

Directions

1. Throw everything in a blender and let it run until smooth.

Notes

You can use cooked acorn or kabocha squash or pumpkin.
